Avocado is one of the healthiest fruits out there. While it can be used in various ways, we bring you four methods that you can use it:

  • Instant Avocado Sauce: Mash 1/2 ripe avocado with 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing. Use on 1 pound grilled poultry, meat, or fish. Add another 1/2 cup dressing and you have 1 1/2 cups of Creamy Avocado Dressing for a summer salad.
  • Chopped Cobb Salad: Toss 1 chopped avocado, 1 chopped tomato, 1 chopped cucumber, 1 cup corn kernels, and 2 crumbled strips cooked bacon with 1/2 cup Italian dressing. Makes 4 servings.
  • Add chopped avocado to salsa, or try mixing it into a tuna or chicken salad.
  • For a beautiful appetizer, fan avocado slices alternately with grapefruit sections and a garnish of fresh tarragon leaves.
