I’m always amazed when I use the air fryer for ribs. Instead of spending an hour and a half to two hours in the oven, they’re ready in just 35 minutes in the air fryer! The result? Crispy on the outside and wonderfully tender on the inside.

Air Fryer Dry Rub Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder (adjust to taste for spiciness)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Liquid Smoke (adds fantastic flavor to the ribs)
  • 1 rack of baby back ribs or beef ribs

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the spices, liquid smoke, and olive oil.
  2. Rub the mixture all over the ribs.
  3. Place the ribs into the air fryer. One advantage of cooking ribs in the air fryer is that you can adjust their size to fit.
  4. Set the air fryer temperature to 400 degrees F and cook for 20 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the ribs are fully cooked.
  5. If needed, add a few more minutes until the internal temperature confirms doneness.

Plate your ribs, serve, and enjoy!
