Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 onion, finely diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 cans tomato sauce (14.5 oz each)
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes (14.5 oz each)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 box dry uncooked macaroni
  • 1 cup frozen peas

Crockpot Goulash Recipe:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef.
  2. Add finely diced onions and peppers; cook until tender.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture to a 6-quart slow cooker.
  4. Add finely diced bell peppers, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, tomatoes, and beef broth. Stir to combine.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 3.5 hours.
  6. Cook the pasta 1 hour before serving, following the instructions on the box.
  7. 30 minutes before serving, stir in the cooked pasta and frozen peas.
  8. Cover and let sit for a few minutes.
  9. Garnish and serve.
